Your host, Jorge, extends true hospitality to the guests of The Red Tree House, taking care of every single detail so that everyone can enjoy their stay to the fullest. You can count on him for such things as arranging transportation, restaurant recommendations, and, most importantly, a friendliness that will make you feel at home. He had the idea of sharing his beautiful home with people from around the globe and so the Red Tree House was born.

He fell in love with Mexico and along with Jorge decided to buy and restore a house in the Condesa area. He divides his time between Mexico and Oregon where he is a designer and educator. His influence can be seen in the tasteful interiors and design details.

A visit from Jorge's family is a Saturday morning tradition which includes lots of activity in the kitchen. It is not unusual for the Red Tree House guests to be invited to join the family for breakfast in the traditional Mexican style. If you are really lucky you may get a chance to sample some great mole" from their home state of Oaxaca.
