La Condesa

This neighborhood was established in 1902. This place was previously a huge estate owned by a Countess named "La Condesa de Miravalle", as a result,  the current name is "La Condesa" (The Countess).

Once  Mexican Revolution ended, the famous racing track turned into the remarkable Amsterdam Avenue in 1920 and several buildings began to rise around and over the old racetrack.

Nowadays, Condesa is a trendy neighborhood that keeps improving on restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries, and common areas without changing the bohemian atmosphere that has been always a lovely characteristic.
