Hipódromo House

Room Description

Welcome to Hipódromo House, a beautifully preserved example of the stylish architecture that emerged during Condesa’s development that began in the 1920s.  Built in 1932 in the streamline moderne style, this restored three-level home stands just across the street from The Red Tree House.

Thoughtfully updated, Hipódromo House balances its original character with comfort, warmth, and the kind of hospitality guests have come to expect from our team. It is, first and foremost, a private home—offered to guests when the owners are away—making it a special place to settle in and truly feel at home in Condesa. Inside, the house offers generous, light-filled spaces: a dramatic two-story living room, a dining room for lingering meals, and a large kitchen ideal for cooking or gathering. A leafy patio with a cozy sitting area invites morning coffee or quiet evening conversation.

Each of the three bedrooms has its own full bathroom. The top floor features a private suite with its own living room, while two additional bedrooms on the middle level offer comfort and calm. The house also includes a guest bathroom on the ground floor, multiple indoor lounging areas, and a rooftop terrace—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city.

While Hipódromo House provides the privacy of a standalone residence, guests also enjoy the spirit of The Red Tree House just steps away: friendly faces nearby, personalized recommendations, breakfast, and the familiar feeling of being welcomed into a home rather than a hotel. Whether you’re planning an extended stay, hosting friends, or simply looking for something special during your time in Mexico City, Hipódromo House offers an inviting and memorable place to stay in the heart of Condesa.
